In your own words, what do you do at Burdock Group?
I am the Business Administrator here at Burdock Group. My job is to make sure the office runs smoothly. I perform accounting, administrative, and HR functions.
How do you prefer to start your day?
Quietly. I like to read the news or other articles before getting ready for the day.
What do you do to turn things around when you're having a bad day?
Listen to music, watch something funny, or journal.
What's your go-to productivity trick?
I listen to upbeat music.
What's one thing that surprised you about working at Burdock Group?
Everyone who works here is genuine, positive, and happy.
What's the first concert you ever went to?
Heart.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher. I did teach at two small colleges in Orlando for several years. But I realized that I love business and being a manager. As a manager, my way to fulfill my childhood dream of being a teacher is by training employees.
What's one song or artist that you're embarrassed to admit you like?
I don't get embarrassed but liking a Justin Bieber song would qualify if I did.
What's the top destination on your must-visit list?
Domestic destination - Alaska.
International destination - England.
What's the weirdest food you've ever eaten?
Probably something deep-fried from Louisiana, either gator or boudin balls.
